Jet Chang joined TOMRA in Oct 2017 and is responsible for circular economy business development in China. Before that, he worked 8 years for several international and domestic companies in the environment industry such as Haldor Topsoe China, Poten Environment and Derun Environment (a joint venture by Suez and Chongqing Water Assets Management Co.). From 2004-2011, he served as senior commercial officer at the Embassy of Denmark in China for 7 years. Since 2019, he has also been the national chair of the environment working group of the EUCCC. Jet holds two master’s degrees from the Northwestern Polytechnic University and Nanyang Technological University, respectively.
Mr. Siddharth Chatterjee took office as the United Nations Resident Coordinator in China on 16 January 2021 and presented his letter of credentials to the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, on 14 April 2021. The Resident Coordinator (RC), is the highest ranking representative of the UN Development System. The RC is the designated representative of - and reports to - the UN Secretary-General.Mr. Chatterjee has more than 25 years of experience in international cooperation, sustainable development, humanitarian coordination and peace and security, which he has acquired at the United Nations and externally.Most recently, he served as United Nations Resident Coordinator in Kenya after holding other leadership positions across the Organization, including Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Kenya, Regional Director for the Middle East and Europe for the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Denmark and Chief of Staff in the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI). Mr. Clysner has a wealth of experience with almost two decades of experience in the beer industry. He joined AB InBev in December 2002 and held several roles in Sourcing and Procurement until December 2007. In January 2008, Mr. Clysner was appointed as the Procurement Project Director of AB InBev. He successively served at several roles in AB InBev, including the Procurement Director of Indirects of Western Europe, the Head of Procurement of Zone Western Europe and the Vice President of Global Logistics Sourcing from January 2010 to December 2016. In January 2017, he was appointed as the Vice President of Sustainability and Procurement of APAC. He orchestrated strategies to achieve 2025 Sustainability Goals in the Asia Pacific, with a laser focus on talent cultivation and sustainability mindset intertwined in the day-to-day business. Mr. Clysner obtained a Degree in Applied Economical Sciences from Hasselt University in Diepenbeek, Belgium in 1994.

Dimitri de Boer is co-founder and chief representative of ClientEarth’s representative office in Beijing, leading a team of legal experts to advance environmental governance and rule of law. Key counterparts include the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Supreme People’s Court, and Supreme People’s Procuratorate. He is also special advisor and member of the chief advisor’s group of the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED), Team Leader of the EU – China Environment Project, and international coordinator of the Green Light System study for greening the Belt and Road Initiative.
My research and teaching experience span the field of sustainable architecture design and architectural engineering design. I completed my PhD in sustainable built environment from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia, in 2011. Prior to joining UNNC in 2013, I worked as an urban design studio tutor and sessional lecturer at UNSW, and then a Lead Consultant/Technical Manager in the Eco-city Research Center, Siemens Corporate Technology. My research interest lies primarily in four areas: 1) Sustainable eco city development; 2) Building life cycle material, energy and carbon modelling and analysis; 3) Passive house technologies in the hot summer and cold winter climate; 4) Building prototyping and modeling.
Violante di Canossa
Violante di Canossa (Viola) is the Development Economist and Head of Research and Policy Team at UNDP China. She has been collaborating with the office since 2018, first as the leading author of a study on global value chains in the palm oil sector and then as a development advisor. Viola has had a diverse career combining an interest in both development and mainstream economics. Before joining UNDP China, she worked for the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), a Swiss think tank, on sustainable global value chains. Prior to that she worked for 10 years as an Economist for Credit Suisse (London), covering European macro trends and their impact on policy and international financial markets. Educated in Italy and the United Kingdom, Viola holds a master’s degree in economics from the London School of Economics.
Prof. Du Huanzheng is currently working at UNEP-Tongji Institute of Environment for Sustainable Development (IESD) and Tongji Ecological Civilization and Circular Economy Institute. He is a key expert in the consulting panel for National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. He was awarded "2019 Global Circular Economy Award -- Leadership Award" from the World Economic Forum. Professor Du Huanzheng's theoretical and practical application achievements have won the first prize of the 8th Humanities and Social Sciences Award of the Ministry of Education, the Development Research Achievement Award of the Ministry of Commerce, the Shanghai Decision Consulting Research Achievement Award, the Shanghai Philosophy and Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award, and the China Circular Economy Association of Science and Technology Progress Award, etc. There are more than ten provincial and ministerial level and above awards.
Dr. Shenggen Fan is currently Chair Professor and Dean of Academy of Global Food Economics and Policy (AGFEP) at China Agricultural University (CAU). Prior to joining CAU, Dr. Fan served as director general of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) from 2009 to 2019. He currently serves as a member of the United Nations’ Lead Group for the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement. He was a member, vice chair and chair of food and nutrition council of the World Economic Forum.He is a Fellow of Agricultural and Applied Economics Association(AAEA), and a Honorary Life Member, International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE).Dr. Fan received a PhD in applied economics from the University of Minnesota and bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Nanjing Agricultural University in China.

Mingyu Qian has a PhD in environmental and waste management from the University of Rostock, Germany. Currently, he is the Director of the Department of Environment and Circular Economy at GIZ, responsible for projects covering waste management, climate change, circular economy, rural development and many other fields.
Xiaojing has been deeply involved in the field of sustainable development and innovation leadership for many years. Starting her professional career as an observer representing Chinese NGOs in UN Climate Negotiations in 2009, she has been working in top consulting firms and environmental NGOs in the last 14 years, helping leading corporates and governments in China to address social and environment challenges. Xiaojing is BMW Foundation Responsible Leader & Asia Society Asia 21 Young Leader. She studied in Sweden and holds two master degrees in ecology and sustainable strategic management.

He also completed the research work of the green finance working group of the G20 Summit on green private equity funds.

Professor Kebin He, Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Deputy Director of the National Committee of Experts on Ecology and Environment, and Dean of the Institute for Carbon Neutrality at Tsinghua University. Prof. He has been conducting research on air pollution control for over 30 years, is widely regarded as one of China’s top experts in the fields of air quality and public health. He made significant achievements that have been implemented in national action plan on acid rain and PM2.5 pollution control, including the development of an online platform of Multi-resolution Emission Inventory for China (MEIC), the establishment of a new approach for source apportionment of integrating emission, observation, and simulation, and the development of a dynamic assessment model for air pollution control solutions. Renowned in China as well as internationally, he has authored more than 300 peer-reviewed papers and has received numerous awards. He received Cozzarelli Prize from the Proceedings of National Academy of Science (PNAS) in 2014, and Climate and Clean Air Award for Transformative Policy from the Climate and Clean Air Coalition under the United Nations Environment Programme in 2018.

He was a resident scholar in International Monetary Fund, and consulted for World Bank and other policy organizations. Nannan Kou is the Head of BloombergNEF China Research and supervises all of BNEF’s analytical work in the region. Previously, he covered China's gas and power market followed by the advanced transport sector as a senior analyst, focusing on EV market dynamics, government policy and corporate strategies. His recent research notes include BloomergNEF's annual flagship report Long-term Electric Vehicle Outlook 2018. He is also the main author to China's New Energy Outlook 2017, one of BloombergNEF’s most widely read publications. Before joining Bloomberg, Nannan served as an analyst in Guodian (now CHN ENERGY) Corporation's energy research institute, the internal consulting arm of one of China's largest Independent Power Producers. Fei Li is the Associate Director of CDP China. Yanhua Liu serves as the Honorary Director of the National Climate Change Expert Committee. He used to be the Vice Minister at the Ministry of Science and Technology and counsellor of the State Council. He has dedicated his career life to scientific research, management, international scientific and technological cooperation in the fields of innovative methods, resources and environment, green development, risk management and sustainable development. Established in 2006, the Committee is an expert advisory body of the national leading group on climate change. As a decision-making support institution and a national think tank, its main responsibility is to provide advice on issues related to climate change and China’s strategy and policies in this field.
Zhu Liu currently serves as the Associate Professor, Principle Investigator and Doctoral Supervisor at Department of Earth System Science, Tsinghua University. He holds Ph.D. from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and then conducted postdoctoral research at Harvard University and California Institute of Technology. As the co-founder of Carbon Monitor and China Emission Accounts and Datasets (CEADs), Zhu Liu takes integrated approach to assess the human impacts on the earth system in terms of greenhouse gas emissions, and has pioneered the study on anthropogenic carbon sink, the phenomenon and measurement that artifacts can uptake CO2 from atmosphere. Zhu authored about 60 academic publications, including more than 30 papers published in nature, science and their sub journals. Zhu is the awardee of the National Qiushi Scholarship, the National Natural Science Funds for Distinguished Young Scholar，the Highly Cited Researchers of Clarivate Analytics，the Green Talents Award，and the Chinese Academy of Sciences Dean Reward，and is also selected as 35 Innovators Under 35 by MIT Technology Review.
Ms. Qi Lu is a Partner at Tsing Capital, where she heads several functions including portfolio management, research, and ESG. Qi has over ten years’ experience working in energy, environmental protection and sustainable development sectors. Her focus areas include renewable energy, electric vehicle, energy efficiency, power storage, smart cities, etc. Prior to joining Tsing Capital, she worked for Carbon Trust and Azure International, two leading environmental and low carbon consulting firms, where she worked with Chinese national and local governments to give recommendations on sustainability-related policy making. She also advised many western Cleantech companies on their China-entry strategies. Qi also worked at Bloomberg New Energy Finance’s Beijing and New York offices as a research assistant intern on power storage and U.S.’s voluntary carbon markets. Qi holds an M.S. Operations Research from Columbia University and a B.Eng. Industrial Engineering from Tsinghua University.
Xuedu Lu is the former advisor on climate change at the ADB providing advice on climate change, carbon market and climate technologies. He holds a Ph.D. in engineering from Tsinghua University. He is the adjunct professor at both Tongji and Tianjin universities. Prior to joining ADB, he worked as deputy director general of the National Climate Center of China, responsible for research, policy and international negotiations on climate change. On the international front, he is one of the inaugural members of the CDM Executive Board established under the Kyoto Protocol and served on the board for 8 years.

She has years of consulting and management experience in sustainable development, corporate social responsibility and responsible investment. She has served as marketing director of SynTao and secretary-general of Simeng's Corporate Social Responsibility Promotion Center. Formerly being the Managing Director at WBCSD covering Climate, Energy, Circular Economy, Cities and Mobility, Maria played a pivotal role in guiding over 200 member companies to take transformative action on climate policy, energy transition, plastic waste and urban mobility. She has also held senior positions at the Economic Bureau of the Spanish Prime Minister, in the CEO’s office of Iberdrola and at the International Energy Agency. Maria has a PhD in energy economics. She is a board member of the Science Based Targets initiative, a Commissioner on the Energy Transition Commission, a Co-Chair of the Global Environment Outlook Business Advisory Board (UNEP), and a board member of the Centre for International Environmental Studies (CIES) in Geneva. María is Spanish, has three kids and lives in Geneva.

Rebecca is the CEO of IGCC and AIGCC, based in Sydney, bringing over 20 years’ experience in climate change, sustainability and investment banking to the role.Rebecca is responsible for developing and delivering the strategy and implementation across AIGCC and IGCC, covering investor practice and policy advocacy. She is a member of the global Steering Committee for the Climate Action 100+ and the Investor Agenda. She joined IGCC in 2012 as Director of Investor Initiatives, before moving to Executive Director of AIGCC in 2016. Mickael Naouri joined Air Liquide in 2015, working on energy and petrochemical markets, covering the Asia Pacific region. Since 2018, Mickael has been in charge of developing the hydrogen strategy in Asia Pacific for Air Liquide with a key focus on Japan, Korea and China. Following the 2020 pandemic Mickael is now focused on China Hydrogen market development. At the same time Mickael is Vice Chair of the Energy working group of the European Chamber of Commerce. This working group, which counts about 200 companies, is key for European companies' advocacy on energy related topics.. Mickael has been living in China for the past 10 years.
Dr. Christoph NEDOPIL is Associate Professor of Practice in Economics and Director of the Green Finance & Development Center at the Fanhai International School of Finance (FISF), Fudan University. He is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) in Beijing, China, and a Visiting Faculty at Singapore Management University (SMU). Christoph regularly provides expertise to governments, financial institutions, enterprises and civil society to accelerate the application of sustainable finance. He works with the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED), the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, as well as various private and multilateral finance institutions (e.g. ADB, IFC, UNESCAP) and international governments. He is the lead author of the UNDP SDG Finance Taxonomy, the Green Development Guidance Baseline Study of the BRI Green Development Coalition under the Chinese Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and has authored four books, dozens of articles, and research reports. Christoph is serving as board director and supports various companies in scaling sustainability in businesses and finance. Christoph is quoted regularly in Bloomberg, Financial Times, Reuters, Science. Before joining FISF, he served as Director for the IIGF Green BRI Center in Beijing, and worked in over 15 countries with the World Bank. Christoph holds a Master of Engineering and a PhD in Economics from the Technical University Berlin, as well as a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School.
Dr Genxing Pan is chair professor of Soil Science at the College of Resources and Environmental Sciences, Zhongshan scholar, and the director at the Institute of Resources, Ecosystem and Environment of Agriculture, Nanjing Agricultural University. Prof. Pan has been engaged in teaching and research on agricultural resources and environment, focusing on the structure, component, property, and function of soil organic matter (SOM) and soil aggregate research, as well as croplands carbon sequestration and emission reduction research and technological innovation. His current research focuses on biochar technology and its industrial applications. Prof. Pan has been actively involved in scientific consultation and public education for international institutions, governments and society in agriculture and climate change, sustainable soil management, agricultural and environmental waste management. Prof. Pan has published more than 150 SCI-indexed papers in international authoritative journals such as Global Change Biology, and the total citations numbers are at the forefront of the global and national field of comprehensive agricultural and ecological environment. In 2020, Prof. Pan was included in the Reuters list of world’s top influential climate scientists and ranked in top 500.
Professor Deo Prasad is among the internationally recognised Australian experts in the field of environment and sustainability with a focus on the built environment. His experience covers practice as an architect, long standing experience as a distinguished academic, significant leadership and governance expertise, all with notable recognition from all levels of government and professions. His publications (in excess of 300) demonstrate a huge body of work in delivering sustainable buildings and cities including low carbon and urban climates, circular economy, integrated/regenerative design, planning and policies. Deo is a firm supporter of a ‘science-led evidence-based approach’. He understands the design, planning and policy contexts in Australia and globally and has worked with most stakeholders (State government, local governments, industry, businesses and professions) on many successful outcomes. Deo headed the CRC for Low Carbon Living which has produced significant knowledge, capacity build and products which underpin the pathway to low carbon buildings and infrastructure.
He has a PhD in environmental and waste management from the University of Rostock, Germany. Currently, he is the Director of the Department of Environment and Circular Economy at GIZ, responsible for projects covering waste management, climate change, circular economy, rural development and many other fields.

He was the former Counselor of the State Council, Secretary-General of Science and Technology Ministry, and Chairman of the Seventh and Eighth Session of the China Renewable Energy Society.Mr. Shi Dinghuan has been advancing the new energy science and technology industry. Majoring in dosage and protection, he graduated from the Department of Engineering Physics of Tsinghua University and has long been responsible for the organization and implementation of technology programs and key projects in industrial and high-tech fields as well as the planning and implementation of the China Torch Program and national high-tech zones. Erik Solheim was the Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme. Prior to that, he chaired the Development Assistance Committee of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, a post he held since 2013, and served as UN Environment’s Special Envoy for environment, conflict and disaster.From 2007 to 2012, he held the combined portfolio of Norway’s Minister of the Environment and International Development, and from 2005 to 2007 served as Minister of International Development. During his time as Minister, Norwegian aid reached 1%, the highest in the world. Solheim also put into place the Nature Diversity Act, considered to be Norway’s most important piece of environmental legislation in the last 100 years. He is an experienced peace negotiator, having acted as the main facilitator of the peace process in Sri Lanka from 1998 to 2005. The peace process led to a ceasefire and the Oslo Declaration in 2002, where parties welcomed a federal state in Sri Lanka. He continued to lead peace efforts in Sri Lanka as Minister, and has contributed to peace processes in Sudan, Nepal, Myanmar and Burundi.Mr. Solheim has received a number of awards for his work on climate and the environment, including UN Environment’s Champion of the Earth award, TIME Magazine’s Hero of the Environment, and an honorary doctorate from TERI University in Delhi, India. He holds a degree in history and social studies from the University of Oslo.

Satya S. Tripathi
A development economist, lawyer and changemaker with over 40 years of varied experience, Mr. Tripathi is the Chancellor of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences - the world's largest academic institution dedicated exclusively to indigenous people and cultures. He is also a Senior Distinguished Fellow on Innovative Finance at the World Agroforestry Centre. He has served with the UN for more than two decades in key positions across the planet and was most recently the UN Assistant Secretary-General, Head of New York Office at UN Environment and Secretary of the UN Environment Management Group. His other strategic engagements with the UN include: Head of Human Rights Investigations for the UN in post-war Bosnia (UNMIBH); Chair of the Committees on Laws, Treaties and Administrative matters for the UN-mediated Cyprus unification talks in 2004; UN Recovery Coordinator for Aceh and Nias where he facilitated international cooperation and funding of over US$ 7 billion for post-tsunami recovery efforts in support of the government and affected populations; and Executive Head of UNORCID, a UN System Office established by the UN Secretary General in 2011 to facilitate the implementation of a US$ 1 Billion REDD+ partnership between Indonesia, Norway and other stakeholders.Mr. Tripathi was instrumental in establishing the Tropical Landscapes Finance Facility (TLFF) in Indonesia in 2016 and the Sustainable India Finance Facility (SIFF) in 2017 to leverage ‘private finance for public good’ at mega-scale to achieve transformative social and environmental impact for millions of people in developing countries. He has extensive work and management experience in the financial industry, having worked at Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong and leading business development and management in China for startups around the world, such as Silicon Valley unicorn Robinhood and Hong Kong unicorn WeLab. Marilyn Waite is the Managing Director of the Climate Finance Fund, covering the markets of China, Europe, and the United States. Marilyn previously led the energy practice at the venture capital firm Village Capital, modeled and forecasted energy solutions to climate change as a senior research fellow at Project Drawdown, and served in a number of roles in nuclear and renewable energy at Orano and Framatome (formerly AREVA). She taught sustainable business at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing and serves on a number of boards, including Sphere (climate-friendly mutual fund), COI Energy (energy efficiency SaaS company), and the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG). Marilyn holds a Masters Degree with distinction in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, magna cum laude, from Princeton University. He has served as a member of the Expert Technical Committee of the Fourth National Giant Panda Survey in Sichuan, the head of the plant group of the Fourth National Giant Panda Survey in Sichuan, and participated in the compilation of the technical plan for the Fourth National Giant Panda Survey.
Mr. Terry Yao has a wealth of experience in multiple procurement categories, especially focus on sustainability in recent years. In June 2016, Mr. Yao joined in AB InBev, and has been successively served at several roles. In January 2021, he was appointed as the Procurement Director of Sustainability for Budweiser APAC. He orchestrated strategies to achieve 2025 Sustainability Goals in the APAC, with focus on sustainability strategy into the day-to-day business. Before AB InBev, Mr. Yao has been worked in several international company as procurement manager, including Unilever and Autoliv. Mr. Yao obtained a Master‘s Degree in Kristianstad University, in Digital Communication, Sweden 2007.

In addition, she is the Worldwide Young Chinese Architects, a Green Building Female Leader in the Asia-Pacific region of the World Green Building Council, one of the Top 100 Chinese Contemporary Architects, National Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker, the expert in planning evaluation of Xiong’an New Area.
Gina joined Maersk China Shipping Limited in 2000. She had held various positions as Chief Representative of Chengdu Office, Strategic Planning and Network Design in Greater China Area, General Manager in Dalian Branch, Shenzhen Customer Service Center, and Customer Service Center in North China, and as General Manager for Key Client Sales in East China. Between 2012-2014, Gina joined CEVA and Panalpina, the leading logistics companies, as Sales Director for North China, until she rejoined Maersk China Limited and serves as General Manager on Government Relations and Public Affairs since Sept. 2014. Gina is of Chinese nationality. She graduated from Peking University, and has a bachlor’s degree from the Department of English Literature and Linguistics
Ms. Xin Yu is Priority Project Coordinator，Sustainable Food Consumption and Supply Chain of WWF China and also Leadership Team Member of WWF global food practice. She is also the project coordinator of the EU Switch-Asia Pride on Our Plate programme. She has worked for WWF China since 2015. Together with Markets team under lead of the practice head, Ms. Yu has been responsible for leading the work in sustainable food production and supply chain including transformation of major commodities including palm oil, soy, meat and seafood, and food loss and waste reduction, leading the establishment of initiatives such as development of Urban Food Waste report in China, China Sustainable Meat Declaration, China Sustainable Palm Oil Alliance, etc. Before joining WWF, Ms. Yu worked for the supporting GEF projects in agriculture and rural area, which are led by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, in the area of rural energy efficiency, biodiversity conservation, climate-smart agriculture, etc. Ms. Yu has a master’s degree in international trade with a specialization in international project management.
Zhang Jiantao is the Vice President of Coca-Cola Greater China & Mongolia. He joined the company in 2015. In his current role, he is responsible for public affairs, strategic communications, and sustainability. Prior to his current role, Jiantao was the President of Amazon China Investment Co. Ltd., responsible for business strategy and development, policy research and lobbying, leading Kindle and Amazon Web Services. From 1997 to 2011, he worked at Mars Foods (China) Co. Ltd in a range of different roles before being appointed Board Director and Vice President of the company. Prior to that, Jiantao worked in a central government agency in China. Jiantao sat on Beijing Municipal People's Congress from 2008 to 2017. He received bachelor’s degree from Shanghai International Studies University. He is also an honorable graduate from the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University.

Hanke Zhang is the founder and General Manager of iGreenBank. Mr. Zhang is also the member of the Green Development Committee of Securities Association of China, ISO Sustainable Finance Committee and the director of the Green Finance Technology Laboratory. With 15 years of experience in carbon trading and 7 years of experience in green finance in China, Mr. Zhang was the earliest practitioner and promoter of carbon market and green finance market in China. Prior to iGreenBank, he worked for China Citic Bank, Energy Systems International (ESI), EDF Group and Bureau Veritas Group. As one of the founders, he served as the director of the Green Bond Laboratory at the International Institute of Green Finance of the Central University of Finance and Economics. He has led the iGreenBank team to implement the certification and management of green financial products equivalent to RMB 400 billion，and invented the first green finance (ESG) artificial intelligence engine and the first green finance intelligent certification and management system based on block chain technology in China and promoted development of green finance technology.
Ruoyao Zhang is an Investor at SOSV, one of the most active VCs in climate tech with an asset under management of US$1.3 billion. Ruoyao is primarily involved in SOSV software cross-border investment activities. She manages over 20 software companies including Octopus (circular economy platform in Indonesia), Citydata.ai (geospatial AI platform), and DigiKhata (#1 digital ledger in Pakistan). Prior to SOSV, Ruoyao worked at the Rocky Mountain Institute as part of the founding team behind the Global Green Bank Design Platform, assisting governments and development banks with green bank development in emerging markets. Ruoyao was also the founding team member of the China Energy and Sustainability Practice at Plug and Play Tech Center. Ruoyao began her career at the New York Times. Dr. Zhang Xiliang is a professor of management science and engineering and director of the Institute of Energy, Environment and Economy at Tsinghua University. Professor Zhang is a member of the National Experts Panel on Climate Change and the Chair of the Energy Systems Engineering Committee of the China Energy Research Society. He has been heading the expert group of national carbon market design since 2015. He was a lead author of the fourth and fifth IPCC Climate Change Assessment Report. He was granted the Leading Talent Award by Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the First Award for Humanity and Social Science Research by Ministry of Education in 2020. His current research interests include low-carbon energy economy transformation, climate change economics, and climate change policy and mechanism design. Professor Zhang holds a PhD in Systems Engineering from Tsinghua University.

Chunjiang Zhao, PhD, researcher, and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. He is currently the Chief Scientist of the Beijing Agricultural Information Technology Research Center, Director of the National Agricultural Information Engineering Technology Research Center, Director of the National Engineering Laboratory for Agri-product Quality Traceability, Director of the Key Laboratory of Agriculture Information Service Technology at the Ministry of Agriculture, and Editor-in-Chief of Smart Agriculture journal. His research interests include agricultural information technology and precision agriculture. He successively presided over a number of national key R&D projects, including the National 863 plan, 973 plan, National Key Technology Research and Development Program, and Key Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China with important scientific research achievements. The demonstration and application of his research in 28 provinces and cities have led to remarkable social and economic benefits, which have made outstanding contributions to promoting the construction of agricultural informatization in China.
He is also the member of OGCI executive committee, the vice chairman of the council of the China Chemical Environmental Protection Association, and the leader of the national CCUS standardization working group. He has long been responsible for the scientific research and management of the environmental protection in CNPC, organized the establishment of CNPC environmental protection supervision system and GHG accounting and verification system, and promoted the environmental management of CNPC in line with the international standards.

Tom Shi, Yingtong has been working with Maersk Group for over 20 years. He joined Maersk in late 2000 as business development manager for container terminal investment of APM Terminals, Maersk Group. He transferred to Maersk China Public Affairs Department as General Manager of Regulatory Affairs since 2008. Before joining Maersk, he has over 10 years of experience of working with the Ministry of Transport.
